Hiring A Private Chef Is Perfect For An Intimate Date Night
Hey girl heyyy and Happy Holidays! I hope you enjoyed your Christmas holiday, and ate all the Christmas goodies (holiday carbs and calories don’t count sis) you could, and engaged in as much self care as your heart desired.
Speaking of heart, this past week was a celebration of my boyfriend’s birthday and receiving his official title as Esquire, so I wanted to make it particularly extraordinary for him. I have seen a few people of my social media, including a friend of mine who recently got married, hire a personal chef for their loved one during the pandemic.
I realized that going to restaurants aren’t the safest places to go to during this pandemic since we eventually have to take our masks off to eat, so why not hire a private chef, right? Plus, it shows your loved one that you put a little more thought into the date night rather than just taking them out!
With that being said, I was convinced that this would be perfect for his special day and hired one for us! So I found this small black owned restaurant on Instagram called Love’s Cajun Ki’chen (where you can taste the love in every bite) and I was intrigued by what I saw. They specialize in New Orleans Cajun Cuisince and since my boyfriend has never been to New Orleans, I figured why not bring New Orleans to my kitchen!
They arrived promptly at 7pm and the restaurant owner, Chef Adrian brought his assistant, Jada, as our hostess. Everything was already prepared and organized in airtight glass food containers, including their famous cajun seasoning. All they had to do was warm and serve it.
It literally felt like I was at a five star restaurant because of their professionalism, presentation, and quality of food! I can see why they said their food has love in every bite because honeyyyyyy, the way that shrimp creole and seafood stuffed (crab meat, crawfish, and a four cheese combination) tasted…INCREDIBLE and I could taste the love!!! This was their specialty meal and I have never had seafood that tasted that good in my house, EVER! They really made me appreciate being a pescatarian to say the least.
Needless to say, my boyfriend enjoyed it to the fullest and couldn’t stop talking about it the next day. It was something we both had never done, so it felt good to have the luxury of hiring a private chef.
With that being said, life is all about experiences, enjoy them while you can. Your money will return, but your time won’t and while you’re at it, make sure to support small black owned businesses, especially Love’s Cajun Ki’chen. I promise you’ll enjoy it! You can contact them here and tell them I sent you.
Happy Holidays from us!
